‘Marble Queen’ Pothos - Climber / Vine

Common name: Marble Queen Pothos

Scientific name: Epipremnum aureum

Description: vining plant with rich, green and variegated heart-shaped leaves and smooth stems with aerial roots growing at each node. The leaves are variegated with white, yellow, or green striations, making no leaf the same. These are naturally found climbing up trees in tropical forests where they anchor themselves to the tree’s surface, and some can grow up to 20m high with optimal conditions! This plant does well in bright, indirect light but can tolerate shade, and prefers a humid environment, like rainforest conditions, and will grow best when left to trail or climb. These look great in taller enclosures such as arboreal tarantula and mantid set-ups due to their climbing nature, but they will also offer great ground-coverage for more terrestrial set-ups. We do want to mention that some species will nibble on the leaves and roots if planted directly into the tank’s substrate, so bare that in mind when choosing what plant species to use.

Grown in 5.5cm pots.
