Lotus Seed Pods x2 - Accessory / Décor - Various Unique Sizes

Lotus seed pods come from the Indian lotus plant (Nelumbo nucifera), which is a species of flowering aquatic plant much like a water lily. The pods are harvested when green and dried until dark brown in colour then the seeds are mostly removed (remaining seeds are completely edible for inhabitants!).
 
Dried lotus pods make an excellent bio-active accessory for most set-ups! They serve as a place of refuge for smaller inhabitants like isopods, and an ideal site for egg laying species. The individual craters across the pods surface can be used as a naturalistic water and food dish whilst making an eye-catching piece of décor. All seed pods have unique shapes and sizes making no one the same!
