Coco Coir Substrate

Coco coir is substrate made from coconut fibres and is the base for many substrates due to it being 100% biodegradable and highly versatile.
 
You can mix up a very simple substrate to house a variety of inverts both long and short-term, and it makes up a lot of plant soils as well due to it being so high in carbon.
 
Coco coir allows for a fantastic air/water exchange for fast drainage
