Cubaris Pak Chong - Danielle Jungle

These isopods do well at average UK room temperatures (around 20°C), though they do seem to thrive at 22-24°C. They enjoy a nice moist environment. General guidance would be to keep 4/5 of the enclosure moist. They enjoy a variety of foods such as washed and peeled vegetable scraps, though the stable of their diet should be leaf litter and rotten hardwoods. Ensure they have access to a good source of calcium, we would recommend either cuttlebone, eggshells or oyster shells.

Cubaris sp "Pak Chong" Isopods are a fantastic species for both beginners and experienced keepers. These isopods can be quite reclusive to begin with, though as the numbers grow they do become more bold over time.
